The Earthen Cycle: Your Last Chance
A downloadable game
What is The Earthen Cycle?
The Earthen Cycle: Your Last Chance is a poetic, psychological TTRPG set in Fidéos, a surreal desert afterlife where lost spirits undergo seven days of harrowing trials in hopes of rebirth. One spirit may return to life—while the rest face eternal fates.
Each player takes on the role of an Ephemeral Soul, a fragmented being forged by clay, salt, spices, and memory.
As players journey through Fidéos, they rediscover who they were and confront who they’ve become. The goal: survive seven grueling trials of spirit, self, and sorrow—then plead your case in the final judgment, where only one soul may return.
Key Features:
-
Narrative-Driven Character Creation: Forge your soul from forgotten memories, symbolic ingredients, and haunting emotions.
-
Moral and Existential Themes: Explore grief, identity, guilt, and transformation through metaphor and myth.
-
Unique Mechanics: Use 2d6+Pillar rolls for actions, create custom soul powers from emotional spices, and undergo memory recovery rolls to fuel growth.
-
Oneiric Setting: The desert of Fidéos is sculpted by divine vultures—Keepers who challenge, provoke, and ultimately pass judgment.
-
Final Judgment: On the seventh day, your soul is judged by your fellow players.
Will you be reborn or vanish forever?
What is a TTRPG?
A Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TTRPG) is a collaborative storytelling experience where players assume the roles of fictional characters and navigate a shared narrative world. Guided by a game master (called the Keeper in this game), players make choices, face challenges, and shape the story through improvisation, dialogue, and dice rolls. There's no board—just imagination, character sheets, and the will to shape destiny.
